Fagure means honeycomb in Romanian, and the building was once exactly that — a warehouse for hundreds of jars of acacia honey from the surrounding villages. We kept the original brick shell, woven a vault of oak slats overhead at exactly 1:6 honeycomb proportion, and drew a 14-metre copper bar whose patina is meant to deepen for the next twenty years.
