AURA was founded in 2017 in Cluj-Napoca by Marius Pușcașu, and works today from a studio in nearby Florești.

AURA began in Cluj-Napoca as the work of a single architect, Marius Pușcașu, and runs today from a studio in nearby Florești. It is, by choice, a small practice — Marius leads every project himself and keeps the list short, drawing in a trusted circle of collaborators only where a project asks for it, so every space receives the attention it deserves. We work in section before plan, in matter before image, and we believe the best buildings are the ones that quietly outlast their decade.

AURA is led by Marius alone. When a project calls for another pair of hands — a structural engineer, a lighting designer, a landscape architect or a master craftsman — he brings in trusted specialists he has worked with for years, chosen for the work at hand rather than kept on a letterhead.
